Zimbabwe which doesn't have an outlet to the sea the state in the South central Africa is a little less by the size, than the State of California. It borders on Botswana in the West, on Zambia in the north, on Mozambique in the east and on South Africa in the south.

History

The remains of ancient people dated 500.000 years ago were found in modern by Zimbabwe. The first settlers of the country, the koysena, appeared in 200 g BC. After the domination period to a bow, the country Sean's tribes, and then the people of a nguna and the Zulu ruled. To the middle of the 19th eyelid descendants of a nguna and the Zulu, to the ndebela, created the powerful military kingdom.

The first British researchers, colonists and missionaries arrived in the 1850th years, and mass inflow of foreigners led to creation of the territory Rhodesia called in honor of Cecil Rhodes from the British Southern African company. In 1923 the European settlers voted for the self-coping British colony of Southern Rhodesia. After short-term association with Northern Rhodesia (nowadays Zambia) and Nyasaland (nowadays Malawi) in the period after World War II, Southern Rhodesia (also known as Rhodesia) decided to remain a colony when in 1963 its two partners voted for independence.
